I wish it was a bit sooner. The old Mazda is getting long in the tooth and I'd rather replace it with a Ford than anything else. I'll keep telling it how it's a good truck and maybe it will last until 2019.

I thought that news might liven things up around here...my 2002 only has 81000 kms on it but I might be tempted to make the jump when the new ones roll off the line. I just don't need a full size truck in my garage

IF... the new Ranger looks like a reworked Ford EDGE, it and IMHO, should go the way of the old Ranger but ASAP !
I for one will not driving a Ranger that looks like a car !

I was all set for the new Ranger, have been for a while, and wanted to buy one as soon as I could BUT I will wait to actually see what they look like !

If it is as I think it will be I may be driving a Toyota here I come.

I like the looks, but the bed looks awfully short. Almost Sport Trac short, as in about 4'. I'd rather have a bed at least as long as the one in the old ranger short box.

Might have to consider this as an option for my husband. He is going to need a new vehicle soon and this might be good. I'll have to wait when it comes out. I don't mind the short bed for him. It will work for our needs. Plus we still have his Dakota until it dies.

Same old SH!T... Ford decides to make something they think looks good... well to me it is a POS Car Type Vehicle, that shouldn't even be allowed to call itself a Ranger Truck !
From what I have read the new Bronco may be based on the same production line as the Ranger, makes business sense but we have been waiting too long for FORD to get its sh!t together and start product of the Ranger again, just to be hit in the head with a Car-Like Vehicle that decided to call a Truck.

AND no diesel for the US, why is that ?

IF and I ASSUME it will, IF the Bronco comes out looking like the Ranger I may not be a FORD Guy much longer, not that it matter to Ford, but a Truck is a Truck and should look like one not a car, it should ride like a car, it shouldn't... unless Ford starts off by giving them away I am hoping they product line collapses and Ford loses money big time.

OK I repeat myself, but I am PISSED to the hilt with Ford and don't mind telling everyone.

What ever happened to the other Prototype Designs that Ford had out there, OK, I'm getting older and a Bronco would have been nice, something retro. looking similar to the Early Bronco, like the first pictures we had on it. I know COSTS but I'm thinking the U.S. market isn't a small one and if Ford doesn't start paying attention to us in the U.S. then maybe they really don't need to be here after all. Sorry President Trump !

I'm ranting I know, but it is what it is, to me Ford has one more try at getting a vehicle out there that is direct competition with the Jeep and the new Bronco is it, come on Ford lets get it done... the right way !

Hope all from the Site are doing well, hope Ford comes through with the Bronco Styling, before I am gone from the Ford scene, and that will be 45 years of Ford that will be down the drain !

Have a good week, a great weekend and Keep it Ford, as long as you can !
