I'm not here anymore.

Still check in almost daily, but not much happening. Good to see you checking in again.

I am still on here at least once a day.

I look sometimes, not daily or monthly but when I think of it !
I don't have a list of sites to visit.
I have started a little coding refresher on the old girl, can't see spending money on either a car like Ranger or a new F150, (48K$) !

Working little by little on a new grill, then I will ATTEMPT the power windows and might find a way to do the Locks too.

Got word a while back that the new Crate Cummins' R2,8 are available for sale, 8K+, not a bad swap for a Ranger considering the cost of a new truck.

Hope someone other than me posts in the site, always liked this place.

I lurk from time to time. Honestly, my Dad's Ranger is fun but it annoys me how much the quality of Ford's parts declined from my 2002 Edge to his 2010 XLT. I'm on my third tailgate handle, and even the interior mirror needs replacing as it is delaminating. Just one part after another failing. Still, I do love the Ranger :)

Formerly of a 1999 Ranger XLT, then a 2002 Edge, and now a 2010 Ranger XLT

"pastfinder" the decline in material is called planned obsolesces, Ranger was already on its downward spiral, molds were being reused as much as possible, part overlap between models and years were getting to be a pain, Ford was not bring back the Ranger because of the aluminum bodies F150s had to have the engineering paid for and the new Ranger needed a market... when and if, it came back to the states. Which I might add... I won't be buying one" !
It is actually a major screw upiunmy book, Ford had a great little truck, a leader in small trucks and they got rid of it, ok... but why didn't they bring that style back, just make it little bigger, wham bam, instance success !

I am still hoping for a great new small Bronco... like not !

Been another year plus... too bad we are all growing old and not as many of the younger people will remember the EDGE Ranger.
The NEW Ranger will take over after a while but we will always have our Ranger EDGE !

My houseproject in SoCal is almost completed, interior is completed, exterior is waiting for some last minute carpentry and paint, and the rear patio, and front and rear walkways are in, AND the barn is up and wiring is proceeding slowly. Next will be the new Grill, some used S/S Tables around the grill, and some new sitting furniture.
The last thing will be crush stone and some AZ River Rocks around the house to make the place look better.

So to all of the Member's on the site Happy New Year and may FORD bring a great new Ford vehicle, not reworked car but a mid sized truck, that's looks like a truck, and DIESEL Power.
