Theres 4 parts to custom uppers.

- The Arm itself.
- The Uniball.
- The Bushings.
- The Pins.

Making the arms themselves isn't a problem. Just a little logistics involved. I will need to purchase a bunch of ' cups ' and grease fittings.

http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/Uniballs-p-202.html
Uniballs with the mis-alignment spacers AND cups run 99$ EACH. They can be ordered without the cups ( -20$ ).

2 will be needed.

I can buy bulk Roundstock cheap. I still have about.. 8-10 feet laying here and enough tubing for the mounts. Enough flat stock for the gussetts.

The Pins are another story. 2 things can be done. Either people can have them made locally OR we all can email the guy whom made mine and see what he would want to do a run of say.. 8-10. One is required for each arm so everyone would need 2.

So long as costs for shipping are covered, I can eat the Metal costs.

I'm working on making tubular/roundstock lowers. They are MUCH more expensive as they require fords factory bushings which are 22$ each ( 88$ for bushings alone.. plus balls and pins... ). Cutting and re-welding the lowers is a cheaper option and it works just fine. I'm trying to drop weight but it doesnt seem like it will be worth the effort to get into it ( all of 10lbs.. )

Start tossing around Ideas folks.

What does ' factory ' mean?

Dan, I'm going to move down to the vendors forum. I know it's not the traditional click here to order sort of deal, but from what I gather from your post you are willing to do the fabrication.
If I'm wrong on this, let me know.

D. I'd probably be in for buying a set if you were to make them up.
